Urvanity Projects and Nude Project Launch La Masía Gallery in Barcelona

exhibition · 2026-04-29

Urvanity Projects has partnered with Nude Project to create La Masía Gallery, a new exhibition space in Barcelona that reimagines the concept of art as a shared experience. Co-founder Bruno Casanovas drew inspiration from a family home that served as an informal meeting point for artists, including Salvador Dalí. The gallery will host rotating temporary exhibitions, positioning itself as a dynamic platform rather than a static venue. Its inaugural exhibition focuses on flamenco, featuring artist Carlota Pérez de Castro (b. 1998, Madrid). Her work translates the gesture, rhythm, and intensity of flamenco dance into painting and installation, with fourteen pieces that blend painting and installation, treating the canvas as an extension of physical and emotional process. Pérez de Castro, founder of Exposición Andante, has exhibited at Fundació Miró, Palacio de Cibeles, Museo Conde Duque, and performed at Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències in Valencia, as well as participating in Madrid Design Week and projects in Menorca.
