Urvanity Fair Debuts in Madrid Alongside ARCOmadrid

festival-fair · 2026-05-05

The Urvanity – International New Contemporary Art Fair is launching in Madrid from February 23 to 26, 2017, at the Neptuno Palace, coinciding with ARCOmadrid. Led by Sergio Sancho, this event focuses on New Contemporary Art, an evolution over the past two decades that combines studio work with muralism. It aims to attract collectors interested in urban art's pop culture roots from the 1970s. The inaugural edition will feature 17 galleries, with 12 international participants like Andenken Gallery from Amsterdam and The Don Gallery from Milan, plus 5 from Spain. Notable artists include D*Face and JonOne, and a solo show of Banksy's work will include pieces like "Cheeky Monkey." The fair aspires to redefine contemporary art beyond traditional urban art limits.
