UrbanisMI Podcast Explores Loreto Regeneration in Milan

The seventh episode of Artribune's UrbanisMI podcast series, written and narrated by Maria Chiara Virgili, focuses on the urban regeneration of Milan's Loreto district. The episode traces the area's history, including the infamous Piazzale Loreto, site of the 1944 fascist massacre and the 1945 display of Mussolini's body, and highlights current redevelopment projects. Key among them is LOC – Loreto Open Community, winner of the Reinventing Cities competition, which aims to transform the piazza into a green agora. Another winning project, Co-Inventing Doria, will create a hostel with public spaces along via Doria.
