Urban Interior Transforms Puglian Farmstead into White-Plastered Villa Normanni

architecture-design · 2026-05-13

In San Vito Dei Normanni, Italy, Urban Interior has transformed a former agricultural site into Villa Normanni, a dual-structured retreat nestled in an olive grove. This contemporary villa complex harmonizes a reasonable budget with luxurious finishes, showcasing white lime plaster walls, Pietra Leccese stone flooring, and tufo stone details. Expansive folding windows seamlessly connect the indoor living spaces to outdoor amenities, which include a sun deck, swimming pool, and outdoor kitchen. Custom furnishings from the Czech Republic complement the design. The villa is equipped with solar panels, a 200-meter deep well, rainwater collection systems, and charging stations for electric vehicles. Adorning the roofline are two ceramic Pina figures, representing fertility and prosperity. This project contributes to a trend in Apulia that reinterprets historical sites for contemporary hospitality.
