Untitled: D'Urso and Strabone's Site-Specific Installations at Kunstschau Lecce

At Kunstschau Contemporary Place in Lecce, the exhibition "Untitled" presents two site-specific installations by young Apulian artists Giovanni D'Urso and Francesco Strabone, curated by Mariagrazia De Giorgi. D'Urso's "Unique" features eight black synthetic spheres in geometric balance on the floor, contrasting with a single black stone to critique industrial seriality versus natural uniqueness. Strabone's "Ex-Voto" is a vertical ossuary of clay and plaster, exploring entropy and gravity. The show is the second organized by Kunstschau, a collective of current and former students from the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Lecce, aiming to revolutionize contemporary art by freeing it from official venues and market logic.
