Unseen 1974 Calder mobile with direct artist provenance heads to Paris auction in May 2026

A previously unpublished mobile by Alexander Calder will be auctioned at Hôtel Drouot in Paris on May 22, 2026. The 1974 work has remained with the same family since Calder gifted it to a woman known as Mrs. H., creating a direct personal provenance untouched by the market.
