Unplugged's First Seafront Cabins in Somerset Offer Off-Grid Coastal Escapes

Unplugged, the pioneering brand for off-grid cabin getaways in the UK, has introduced its inaugural seafront cabins, named Barclay and Wilfred, located in Porlock, Somerset. Continuing its digital detox initiative launched in 2020, these cabins provide three-night retreats where guests are encouraged to store their phones. Barclay can be reached via a challenging drive and hike, while Wilfred is accessible through Exmoor National Park. Both cabins welcome dogs and can host one or two guests, featuring amenities such as a phone lockbox, an emergency Nokia, a hot shower, a log burner, Piglet in Bed linens, books, games, and an instant camera. Prices begin at £540 per cabin. The surrounding area boasts pebble beaches, a wood-fired sauna, Exmoor trails, seaside pubs, and Locanda on the Weir.
