University of Bath architecture students propose beer factory museum in Bristol
During the Dezeen School Show, Nicole Lowson's innovative concept, The Bread and Barrel, captured significant interest. This project envisions a museum within the Bristol Beer Factory, located at Redcliffe Wharf. It aims to revitalize the neglected waterfront while featuring a gravity-operated brew tower. Additionally, Mohalla Van, an urban initiative from Bhopal, India, secured the RIBA Serjeant Award for Excellence in Drawing. Other acclaimed projects included Kathalaya by Beth Kippin and The Hotwells Dock Project by Antar Ghazoul, both of which received RIBA Bronze Medals. The event highlighted a landmark achievement for the University of Bath in the RIBA President’s Medals awards.
