Universal Everything's VR Experience 'Emergence' Now Free on Steam
Universal Everything's virtual reality project 'Emergence', which debuted at the Sundance Festival in 2019, is now available for free on Steam VR for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Valve headsets. The immersive environment lets users embody a luminous figure surrounded by thousands of virtual characters that react intelligently to their movements. Studio founder Matt Pyke explains that by programming each individual with behaviors like avoiding, following, or camouflaging, they can choreograph elaborate crowd movements on a large scale.
