Unipol Group Launches TheDAP Art Park in Milan's Gratosoglio District
During Milan Art Week, the Unipol Group inaugurated TheDAP Dei Missaglia Art Park, a dynamic open-air and indoor exhibition space in the Gratosoglio district at via dei Missaglia 97. The initiative is part of UrbanUp Unipol's InOltre. Sharing in The City project, which focuses on requalifying Milan's peripheral and semi-peripheral neighborhoods. TheDAP marks the first phase of a larger redevelopment of the 110,000 sqm Business Park owned by Unipol, with major renovation works planned in the coming months, emphasizing environmental sustainability. The opening exhibition, titled 'Art & Humanities For Climate Change,' features Thomas Libertiny's large-scale facade installation 'Every Bee is a sun' (over 800 sqm), works by Dario Tironi, Daniele Daminelli (Studio 2046), and Carlo Ramous's 1978 iron sculpture outdoors, while inside 'Rinascita' showcases students from Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. Massimiliano Morrone, CEO of UnipolSai Investimenti SGR, stated that Unipol is working on projects covering over 300,000 sqm in Milan's semi-center and periphery, aiming for sustainable investments that create new centralities and improve urban context. Culture Councillor Filippo Del Corno praised the growing presence of contemporary art in decentralized spaces, highlighting Milan ArtWeek's role in spotlighting initiatives during miart.
