Unipol Group launches first general catalog of its art collection

The Unipol Group has announced the publication of the first general catalog of its art collection, titled 'Tracce di identità dell’arte italiana. Opere dal Patrimonio del Gruppo Unipol', curated by Christian Caliandro. The announcement was made during a talk on archives at Arte Fiera, part of a busy week for CUBO-Centro Unipol Bologna. The center presented the exhibition 'In Between – dialoghi di luce' (until March 31, 2018), curated by Federica Patti and Ilaria Bignotti, featuring Paolo Scheggi (1940-1971), Joanie Lamercier, and the collective Fuse*. Scheggi's 1968 environment 'Interfiore', made with 90 fluorescent yellow circles lit by Wood's light, was reconstructed for the show. Lamercier's work uses dynamic projections on a transparent surface to create moving geometries. Fuse* performed the live-media piece 'Dökk' at Teatro Testoni Ragazzi during Art City White Night, a multimedia journey through ten digital rooms danced by Elena Annovi. The catalog documents the history and acquisitions of the Unipol collection.
