Unione Industriali Napoli Centenary: Art Prize and Events
The Unione Industriali Napoli celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2017 with a series of events aimed at highlighting the relationship between Naples and its industries. Three main conferences are planned: on February 28 at the San Giovanni a Teduccio university complex on the Fourth Industrial Revolution; on April 27 at Città della Scienza on infrastructure; and the main event on June 21-22 at Teatro San Carlo, with the President of the Republic invited, focusing on the role of Naples and Southern Italy in social and economic development. A prize of €5,000 is offered for young artists to create an image for the centenary communication plan, with an exhibition and a deadline of January 27. Confindustria supports the initiatives.
