UnifyDrive unveils PixelMob prototype for verified field backup and creative workflow integration
UnifyDrive has introduced PixelMob, a new sub-brand tailored for professional photographers and videographers, focusing on resolving backup verification challenges. This prototype incorporates a six-layer data verification system, featuring streaming checksum validation and AES-256-encrypted cloud storage. It boasts a touchscreen interface, NVMe SSD storage, and an integrated neural processing unit. Two versions are currently under development: the Standard model with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen and the Pro model with a 7-inch OLED display. PixelMob also includes AI-driven photo culling, HDMI monitoring, and tethered camera control, syncing seamlessly with UnifyDrive's NAS systems via the UDOS platform. Founder Bin Yuan emphasizes the significance of file integrity. PixelMob was presented at NAB Show 2026, but pricing and release details remain undisclosed.
