Underhill Walls Community Mural Project Showcases New Panels in Brooklyn's Prospect Heights

Underhill Walls, a mural initiative located in Brooklyn's Prospect Heights, has recently introduced new panels as part of its ongoing themed exhibitions. Established in 2015 by artist and curator Jeff Beler, this project has creatively transformed the construction barriers surrounding a fire-damaged, vacant building into a vibrant mural space with the necessary permissions. Initially curated by Frankie Velez, the project refreshes approximately biannually, showcasing both established and emerging muralists who create site-specific works across various panels. This community-driven effort emphasizes collaboration, accessibility, and artist synergy, becoming a notable landmark for mural art. Featured artists this week include Anna Faris, Barbtropolis, BC NBA, and many others.
