Unconscious Paradises: LUFT Festival at Gallery GAFU, Ostrava

The 6th edition of the LUFT audiovisual festival presents 'Nevědomé ráje / Unconscious Paradises' at Gallery GAFU in Ostrava, Czech Republic, from 15 April to 15 May 2026. Curated by Jakub Černý, Dominika Goralska, and Barbora Mikudová, the group exhibition repositions paradise as an inner, inaccessible register rather than a distant place. It features seven artists: Jiří Baštyř, Botond Keresztesi, Sabina Knetlová, Paula Malinowska, Limi.noko, Stach Szumski, and Kateřina Šantrochová. Works include Knetlová's grey cement sculptures of conjoined figures, Limi.noko's amber resin wall piece with kanji-like characters, Malinowska's surreal painting of a hand reaching toward reflective spheres, and Szumski's skeletal figure on earth with a handwritten Czech text declaring 'The Floressance has started.'
