Unauthorized Banksy Immersive Show Opens at Milan Central Station
From December 3, 2021 to February 27, 2022, Milan's Stazione Centrale hosts 'The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience' in the Galleria dei Mosaici, near the new Mercato Centrale. This unauthorized exhibition dedicated to the anonymous Bristol street artist features 30 previously unseen works—including Ozone Angel, Steve Jobs, Napoleon, and Waiting in Vain—alongside iconic pieces like Flower Thrower and Girl with Balloon, totaling 130 works. Themes include denunciation of economic interests overriding human ones, consumerism, war effects, social issues, and discrimination. A video section traces Banksy's history and the social message of his murals worldwide. The show also includes works by young anonymous European artists, creating a 360-degree collective street art environment. Tickets are available via theworldofbanksy.it, happyticket.it, ticketone.it, and vivaticket.com. Opening hours: Tuesday–Friday 11:00–20:00 (last entry 19:00), Saturday–Sunday 10:00–20:00, closed Mondays except December 6, 20, 27, 2021 and January 3, 2022; closed December 24, 25, 31, 2021.
