UnArchive Found Footage Fest: Rome's First Festival of Recycled Cinema
The inaugural UnArchive Found Footage Fest is set to occur in Rome from May 3 to 8, hosted at locations such as Alcazar, Accademia di Spagna, and Tempietto del Bramante. This event, organized by AAMOD in partnership with Archivio Luce and backed by MiC-Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo, will showcase an international competition alongside special screenings, retrospectives, live performances, visual installations, panels, and a masterclass. The program is curated by artistic directors Alina Marazzi and Marco Bertozzi. Bertozzi, known for works like 'Appunti romani' (2004) and 'Predappio in Luce' (2008), and Marazzi, recognized for 'Vogliamo anche le rose' (2007) and 'Tutto parla di te' (2012), will explore the historical context and creative reinterpretation of images.
