Una visione oltre: Young Artists Map Adria's Peripheries

The festival 'Una visione oltre, di mappe in mapping' in Adria, curated by Tobia Donà with artistic direction by Stefano Cagol, invited under-35 artists to engage with the local territory and community. The project explored boundaries, marginality, and non-places through site-specific works. Luca Coclite's piece, inspired by a lost island myth, used a phone number and audio contributions to reconstruct identity via reciprocity. Matteo Capobianco measured the locality of Baricetta by weighing paper to evoke a historic forest. Giulio Zanet revitalized abandoned buildings in Ca' Emo with colorful paper installations, referencing a vanished lake. Ginevra Mei created floating papier-mâché stones, and Giorgio Gieri produced a video on flood maps for Bellombra. At the Museo Archeologico di Adria, Giulia Callegarin's photographic installation accompanied the 'Biga', while Giulia Sacchetto embroidered the Po Delta's shifting forms on paper with plane tree seeds. Stefano Cagol's video installation addressed electricity's natural archetype and ancient Adriatic cultures through amber. The festival aimed to pose questions rather than provide answers, bridging past and present.
