Una Boccata d’Arte 2024 brings site-specific works to 20 Italian villages
The fifth edition of Una Boccata d’Arte, a contemporary art project organized by Fondazione Elpis in collaboration with Galleria Contina and Threes, is set to launch on June 22, 2024. This year, 20 villages will showcase site-specific creations by artists aged under 35, contributing to a total of 100 villages and 100 artists with more than 30 interventions throughout Italy. Among the participating artists are Augustas Serapinas, Beatrice Celli, and Sofia Silva, among others. Notably, three artists will focus on sound-based works. Marina Nissim emphasized the significance of reaching 100 interventions. Local administrations have permanently acquired previous artworks, while Mohsen Baghernejad Moghanjooghi has donated pieces to Santa Severina and committed to planting 1,900 trees.
