Uma Thurman e Samuel L. Jackson in 'The Kill Room', commedia sul mercato dell'arte

Directed by Nicol Paone, The Kill Room, a dark comedy thriller, is set to premiere in Italy on September 29, 2023. The story revolves around gallerist Patrice Capullo (Uma Thurman), hitman Reggie Pitt (Joe Manganiello), and his employer Gordon Davis (Samuel L. Jackson). To launder money, Gordon concocts a scheme to transform Reggie into an artist known as The Bagman, whose artwork is sold through Patrice's gallery. However, the plan draws unwanted scrutiny, jeopardizing Reggie's secret. This film marks a reunion for Thurman and Jackson since Pulp Fiction (1994) and features Uma Thurman's daughter, Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), in her first collaboration with her mother. Additional cast members include Debi Mazar, Larry Pine, and others. The film critiques the art world's opacity.
