Ulises Studio's inflatable clay landscape fills Palazzo del Senato for Milan Design Week 2026

For Milan Design Week 2026, Spanish architect and digital artist Ricardo Orts of Ulises Studio has transformed the courtyard of Palazzo del Senato into an immersive, inflatable installation titled 'Ooooh, that’s EpiQ!' for Škoda Auto. The soft, colorful landscape, inspired by modeling clay, features oversized inflatable forms that contrast with the baroque architecture. At its center sits the camouflaged Škoda Epiq alongside a sculptural counterpart, the EpiQ sculpt. The all-day environment includes yoga sessions, a mobile café repurposed from the Škoda Elroq, an open auditorium, and a family area with a ball pit and slide. After dark, colored lighting shifts the atmosphere. The installation runs from April 21st to 26th, 2026, at Palazzo del Senato in Milan.
