Ulaanbaatar Biennale Debuts, Galerie Ceysson Expands to Tokyo, Art Osaka 2025 Program Announced
The first Ulaanbaatar Biennale is set to take place from June 6 to June 20 in Mongolia. Curated by Tian Zhang, the event, themed 'On the Horizon, Under the Moon,' will showcase 25 artists addressing topics such as home, land rights, and environmental concerns at locations including the Museum of Natural History. Notable participants are Raven Chacon and Jantsankhorol Erdenebayar. In Tokyo's Ginza, Galerie Ceysson & Bénétière will inaugurate its first Asian location with 'Supports/Surfaces' running until August 29. Art Osaka 2025 is scheduled for June 5–9, featuring 44 galleries at Osaka City Central Public Hall. Yan Du will launch YDP in London this October, debuting with an exhibition by Duan Jianyu. On June 6, London's Serpentine Galleries will reveal its 2025 Pavilion, 'A Capsule in Time,' designed by Marina Tabassum.
