Ukraine Calls Emergency UN Security Council Meeting After Russian Strikes

Ukraine has demanded an emergency UN Security Council meeting and an OSCE gathering after massive Russian air strikes, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced on Sunday. The overnight attacks mainly targeted the Kyiv region, deploying a medium-range Oreshnik ballistic missile. Sybiha called for a 'strong response' to the aggressor, accusing Russia of compensating for battlefield losses with 'barbaric missile attacks.' In Kyiv, at least two people were killed and 81 injured, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. President Volodymyr Zelensky reported around 100 injured and at least four dead nationwide. Government buildings, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cabinet building, were damaged. The strikes occurred on a public holiday.
