UK Labour leadership crisis revives Brexit debate as Streeting and Burnham call for EU rejoin

Their remarks come after significant Labour defeats in local elections to Reform UK and the Green Party, prompting over 90 MPs to urge Prime Minister Keir Starmer's resignation. Streeting announced his intention to challenge Burnham in the leadership race, while Burnham must first secure a seat in the House of Commons through a by-election on June 18.
