Ugo Nespolo's New Ceramic Works Debut in Albissola and Savona

Between May 30 and September 6, 2026, the towns of Albissola Marina and Savona will present "Nespolo e Albisola. Fuoco ritrovato," an exhibition featuring more than thirty contemporary ceramic creations by Ugo Nespolo. Curated by Riccardo Zelatore, this event is organized by the Fondazione Museo della Ceramica di Savona ETS in collaboration with the Comune di Albissola Marina. The artworks were produced at Ceramiche Pierluca, and the title signifies Nespolo's revitalized focus on ceramics. The exhibition will take place at both the MuDA in Albissola Marina and the Museo della Ceramica di Savona, displaying modern pieces alongside Renaissance maiolicas. A catalogue by Moebius Books will feature contributions from Nespolo and others. On June 6, 2026, Nespolo will give a talk at LIDO Spa Resort during the Festival della Maiolica, held from June 5 to 7.
