Uchronia's 'Le Grand Bouquet' Blooms at the Grand Palais
On 11–20 September 2026, the Grand Palais in Paris hosts Le Grand Bouquet, an installation by studio Uchronia, founded by Julien Sebban. A monumental flower blooms beneath the Rotonde d'Antin’s dome, with stylized petals extending the building’s mosaic floors and arcade moldings. An inflatable structure on the forecourt acts as a threshold between reality and imagination. The piece is technically supported by Atelier François Pouenat for its art metalwork, while the Maisons du 19M handle the coloring. Circular beds at the flower’s base invite visitors to rest. A shop, Boutique design et métiers d'art, sells related objects designed by Uchronia, including floral ceramics and Candy lamps. Sebban describes beauty as a form of resistance, turning joy into a collective force. The event is free, open Tuesday to Sunday, with Friday hours until 10:30 p.m.
