UBS and Art Basel Celebrate 25-Year Partnership with VIP Lounge and Cruz-Diez Exhibition
Since 1994, UBS has collaborated with Art Basel, a partnership that intensified in 1999 with the introduction of the Unlimited section. This alliance further extended to Art Basel Miami Beach in 2002 and to Hong Kong in 2014. Since 2016, they have jointly published the Global Art Market Report, with the most recent edition released in March 2018 by Clare McAndrew. UBS's corporate art collection, established in the 1960s, boasts around 35,000 pieces across 800 locations. Additionally, the bank supports numerous museums and features a solo exhibition of Carlos Cruz-Diez at the UBS Collectors Lounge during Art Basel, displaying works from a project designed for UBS's Zurich headquarters (1975-1979) and restored in collaboration with the artist's studio.
