UASZ Designs Shenzhen School with Nature-Focused Campus
Architecture firm UASZ has completed the Shenzhen Hongling Education Group Huafu Experimental School, a 73,200-square-meter elementary and middle school in Shenzhen, China, in 2024. The project, led by architects Wu Chao and Wang Siwen, addresses the site's contradiction of being adjacent to Shenzhen Central Park yet separated from it by high-rise residential towers. The design aims to reintegrate nature into daily campus life. Landscape design was handled by Atelier Scale, interior design by ICON STUDIO, and photography by Yu Bai. The client is the Shenzhen Futian District Education Bureau.
