Two Exhibitions in Gorizia and St. Petersburg Mark 100 Years Since the Russian Revolution
In St. Petersburg and Gorizia, two exhibitions commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. 'Diritto al Futuro' will debut on October 25, 2017, at the MISP, under the curation of Afrodite Oikonomidou. The Italian involvement is facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and organized by the Garuzzo Institute for Visual Arts, with support from the Italian Institute of Culture and the Consulate General of Italy. Meanwhile, 'La Rivoluzione Russa. Da Djagilev all'astrattismo (1898-1922)' opens on December 6, 2017, at Palazzo Altems in Gorizia, curated by Silvia Burini, Giuseppe Barbieri, and Faina Balachovskaja, highlighting Russia's cultural renaissance from 1898 to 1922.
