At 11 a.m. on August 2, Edie Berlinger-Douglas and Tuxedo Murillo, two dogs from New York, exchanged vows at The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel. The wedding was organized in less than a month, with Tuxedo’s owner, Iggy Murillo, who is Vogue's casting director, and Edie's owner, Max Berlinger, a senior fashion news editor. Their initial outing at McCarren Park was lackluster, but Tuxedo’s proposal, featuring almonds and sweet potatoes, was memorable. Outfits were designed by Rachel Antonoff, with accessories by Susan Korn. The event was captured by photographer OK McCausland, while Aubrey Thompson provided a dog-friendly cake. The venue offered dog beds, and the ceremony took place before Tuxedo's neutering, postponing their honeymoon. Canine guests attended, and Lafitte Antonoff officiated.
