Two calls for cultural videogames from Fondazione Alghero and Apulia Film Commission

The Apulia Film Commission and Fondazione Alghero have initiated calls for proposals focused on videogames that highlight cultural heritage. As part of the MED GAIMS project, Fondazione Alghero aims to develop five games—two digital and three analog—that delve into Alghero's historic center or natural park, offering funding of up to €60,000. Proposals must be submitted by either September 15 or October 30, with selected candidates required to participate in events for the final selection. Meanwhile, the Apulia Film Commission is looking for two narrative videogames centered on environmental and historical topics, each with a budget of around €40,000, with expressions of interest due by 2:00 PM on September 30, 2020. The IVIPRO DAYS event focusing on videogames and cultural heritage will take place online from September 24 to 27, 2020.
