Twenty major Asian art exhibitions and events for Autumn 2015 highlighted by ArtReview Asia
From September 19 to November 8, Taipei's Hong-Gah Museum will host Bruce Yonemoto's inaugural solo exhibition in Asia, which explores themes of identity through film works created with his late brother, Norman. Meanwhile, the Hugo Boss Asia Art Award is broadening its reach at Shanghai's Rockbund Art Museum, where finalists from Southeast Asia will be showcased, and a winner will be revealed in November. Shanghai is bustling with activities, including the West Bund Art & Design Fair (September 8-13), Random International's Rain Room at Yuz Museum (opening September 1), and Yang Fudong's exhibition at both Yuz Museum and Auckland Art Gallery (late September). Hong Kong's Things That Can Happen launches on September 5, and Singapore's National Gallery opens on November 24. Additional events include Bangkok's PhotoBangkok 2015 (running until October 4) and Tokyo Art Meeting VI (starting November 7).
