Turin Patching Circle returns for live coding and DIY electronics

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

After a hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Turin Patching Circle (TPC) returns to Turin on February 5, 2022, at the Imbarchino in Parco del Valentino. Founded by artist and musician Giorgio Alloatti, TPC is a spin-off of the Audiohacklab collective. It brings together enthusiasts of live coding, modular synthesizers, creative coding, and DIY electronics for jam sessions and performances. The event starts at 19:00 with an open jam by collectives Sintetica and Stasis, followed by live sets from 22:00 using modular synthesizers, live coding, and self-built electronic devices. Alloatti, who has been active in Turin's underground music scene since 2007, sees TPC as a space for human and electronic connections. He notes that Turin has a vibrant community of tinkerers and musicians, and the pandemic has impacted the scene but not diminished its spirit. Alloatti's personal projects include Mo_o, Plesetsk, and PJP.
