Davis, a former leader of the South Side Compton Crips, has pleaded not guilty to one count of murder and is currently awaiting trial. The lawsuit alleges a 'complex conspiracy' and seeks to identify further individuals involved, referencing grand jury transcripts and the Netflix documentary 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning,' where Davis claims Sean Combs offered $1 million for Shakur's murder, a claim Combs denies. Shakur, who sold over 75 million records and appeared in films like 'Juice,' was shot in a drive-by in Las Vegas in September 1996 and succumbed to his injuries six days later at the age of 25.
