Triennale Milano turns 100, opens archives to public

institutional · 2026-04-27

In 2023, Triennale Milano, established in 1923 in Monza, marks its 100th anniversary with a strategic initiative titled Design the Future. This includes a fresh logo designed by Studio NORM and the launch of Il Magnete, which allows public access to digitized archives. The initiative aims to achieve four key goals: engaging audiences, enhancing reputation, valuing research, and increasing agility. A membership program is set to debut in March 2023. The exhibition lineup features the reopening of Museo del Design Italiano on April 15, Home Sweet Home from May to September, and a contemporary Italian painting survey from October 2023 to January 2024, along with performances by Romeo Castellucci and retrospectives on significant artists, emphasizing Italian women artists. A new Design Platform will also be introduced.
