Triennale Milano 2022 Explores the Unknown with 400 Artists

Set to commence in the summer of 2022, the 23rd International Exhibition of Triennale Milano is themed 'Unknown Unknowns. An Introduction to Mysteries.' Curators Ersilia Vaudo and Francis Kéré have assembled a collection of over 600 artworks by 400 artists from more than 40 nations, including 22 international participations. African nations such as Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Rwanda will have dedicated pavilions. The Ukrainian Pavilion, overseen by Gianluigi Ricuperati, will be showcased in Bucha. Supported by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio emphasized the significance of Italy's design industry. The exhibition explores crises and the limits of human understanding of the universe through various curated pieces and scholarly contributions.
