Treviso Comic Book Festival returns for 20th edition with international focus

From September 29 to October 1, 2023, Treviso, Italy, will host the 20th edition of the Treviso Comic Book Festival (TCBF), showcasing 13 exhibitions across historic locations. Notable events include a retrospective of Paolo Bacilieri at Palazzo Bomben, a curated 20-year comics exhibition by Alberto Corradi at Fondazione Benetton, and a focus on "Swedish contemporary comics" at Casa Robegan. Canadian artist Patrick Kyle will showcase "Ten in Goblin Years" at Spazio Solido. The festival will also feature workshops, the Vetrine project, public discussions, and the Premio Carlo Boscarato award. Over its 20-year history, TCBF has organized 220 exhibitions and welcomed more than 2,500 cartoonists, with 67 local artists participating in 2023 alongside international guests.
