Trentino Unexpected: Six Photographers Capture an Unseen Region
At Museo Mart in Rovereto, the exhibition 'Trentino Unexpected' showcases 86 images taken by six distinguished photographers: Simone Bramante, Francesco Jodice, Gabriele Micalizzi, Rosalena Ramistella, Massimo Sestini, and Newsha Tavakolian. Curated by Denis Curti, the exhibition will be open until November 9, 2025, and features a collector's volume published by Gribaudo, which will debut at the Turin Book Fair in May 2025. Commissioned by Trentino Marketing, this project aims to present a deeper view of the region beyond its typical tourist appeal. The exhibition, housed in a Pantheon-inspired building designed by Mario Botta, runs alongside Sebastião Salgado's 'Glaciers' until September 21, 2025. Maurizio Rossini highlighted it as a cultural initiative that celebrates Trentino's beauty and innovation.
