TREIZMAN + ZURILLA debut solo exhibition at The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery
From May 14 to August 29, 2026, the Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery in Pembroke Pines, Florida, will host 'Monumentalizing the Trace,' marking the inaugural solo exhibition of TREIZMAN + ZURILLA. The Miami-based duo, comprised of artists Denise Treizman and Julia Zurilla, will showcase an immersive installation that fuses video, sculpture, and spatial intervention, examining the concept of the monument as a trace rather than a static emblem. Their artistic partnership began at the 2023 Satellite Art Show. Notable previous works include 'Coincidentia Oppositorum' (2023), 'DREAMCATCHER (infinity loop)' (2024), and 'Luminous Vacancy' (2025). The opening reception, which is free and open to all, will take place on May 14 from 6 to 9 PM at 601 City Center Way.
