Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti: 30-Year Retrospective at PAFF! Pordenone

The PAFF! Palazzo del Fumetto in Pordenone hosts 'Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti Expo', a retrospective covering three decades of the Italian band's hybrid practice of music and comics. Curated by Paola Bristot, the exhibition runs from November 7, 2024 to March 9, 2025. It features drawings, objects, animations, and installations, exploring the relationship between merchandise and poetry. The band—Davide Toffolo (singer and comic artist), Enrico Molteni (bassist), and Luca Masseroni (drummer)—originated in Pordenone in 1994. The show includes contributions from writers, artists, and critics such as Igort, Carlo Pastore, Massimiliano de Giovanni, Giulia Blasi, Barbara Baraldi, Vasco Brondi, Enrico Sist, Luca Raffaelli, Marco Dabbà, and Tullio Avoledo. The band has performed 1,500 concerts, released over 100 songs and 20 vinyl records, and toured with Jovanotti in 2013. Upcoming concerts in London, Barcelona, and Berlin are planned. The exhibition also reflects on Pordenone's identity as a 'rock city'.
