Transformers sculptures invade Milan's science museum

exhibition · 2026-05-05

Giant Transformers sculptures by Montenegrin artist Danilo Baletic will occupy the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan from March 2 to May 1, 2017. The works, inspired by the Hasbro robots created in 1984, transform from cars into warriors. The traveling exhibition Transformers Art, promoted by Vienna's Baha Fine Art, aims to raise environmental awareness among younger generations. Baletic crafted the metal sculptures from scrap cars and trucks recovered from landfills, highlighting waste as a resource. Milan is the first stop of a world tour that will include Denmark, London, Europe, Asia, and the United States.
