Transfashional Exhibition Explores Eco-Friendly Fashion at Rimini Museum

At the Museo della Città di Rimini's Ala Moderna, the exhibition 'Transfashional' explores innovative and visionary concepts in sustainable fashion. Curated by Dobrila Denegri, it features the work of emerging artists and designers focused on minimizing fashion's ecological footprint. This initiative originated three years ago at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and has since visited several venues, including the Austrian Cultural Forum London, Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, MuseumsQuartier Vienna, Kalmar Art Museum in Sweden, and London College of Fashion. The exhibition includes installations, videos, and performances, with limited actual clothing. Notable artists are Aliki van der Kruijs, creator of 'Made by rain,' and Lara Torres, known for garments that dissolve in water. The event will be on display until January 6, 2020.
