Traffic Festival 2022: Art and Music in the Marche Hills

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

Traffic Festival, a multidisciplinary event founded in 2018 by Bianca R. Schröder and Pietro Consolandi, returns to the Marche hinterland from August 26 to 28, 2022, in San Lorenzo in Campo and Pergola. The fourth edition focuses on water, inspired by last year's drought. Curators Matteo Binci, Bianca R. Schröder, Pietro Consolandi, Giacomo Pigliapoco, and Giulia Angeloni emphasize decentering the human gaze on nature and rethinking water as a material, embodied dimension. The program includes public art installations, explorations of local historical heritage (including the Roman archaeological site of Suasa Senonum and prehistoric traces in Pergola), public discussions, music, local food dinners, children's workshops on water heritage, performances, and artist residency outcomes.
