Touchpoint: 16 ballerini per 16 opere d'arte contemporanea

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The Touchpoint project, a collaboration between Collezione Maramotti and CCN/Aterballetto, merges contemporary art and dance through a series of videos. Director Andrea Mafrica filmed 16 works from the collection—15 at the Reggio Emilia headquarters and one at Max Mara's flagship store in Milan. The works are divided into four thematic groups: Icona, Paesaggio, Essenza, and Dimora. Each piece is interpreted by a dancer from Aterballetto, who chose their own choreography, music, and costumes. Artists featured include Henry Moore, Tony Cragg, Eva Jospin, and Claudio Parmiggiani. The collection spans over 200 works dated from 1950 to 2019. The video series aims to offer an initial emotional approach to the collection, using dance to amplify the art's beauty.
