Tornabuoni Art reopens Paris gallery after three-year restoration
After three years of temporary premises on Rue Charlot in the Marais, Tornabuoni Art has returned to its historic Paris gallery at Avenue Matignon, near the Grand Palais and Champs-Élysées. The 300-square-meter space across three floors underwent a restoration designed by Italian architecture firm Archea, known for projects including the Liling World Ceramic Art City in China, the national stadium of Albania in Tirana, the Antinori winery in Tuscany, and Eataly Trieste. Gallery director Francesca Piccolboni stated that the 8th arrondissement's cultural atmosphere is becoming increasingly dynamic and international, with contemporary galleries joining historic ones. The reopening exhibition will celebrate Italian Minimalism, featuring Lucio Fontana, Enrico Castellani, Alighiero Boetti, Dadamaino, Francesco Lo Savio, and Piero Manzoni, opening during FIAC art week. Additionally, from October 1, a Paolo Scheggi institutional exhibition will be held at the Hôtel de Galliffet (Istituto Italiano di Cultura), organized with the Associazione Archivio Paolo Scheggi and Tornabuoni Art, following Scheggi's participation in the 1967 Biennale de Paris at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
