Torino Graphic Days Celebrates 10 Years at New Vitali Park Venue
The international festival Torino Graphic Days, founded in 2016 by Print Club Torino, Quattrolinee, and Plug, marks its tenth edition with a move to Vitali Park, a former industrial complex in Turin's Spina 3 district. Running until May 18, the event features talks, workshops, performances, a market exhibition, and school activities under the theme 'Love, Now!'. Artistic directors Ilaria Reposo and Fabio Guida highlight the festival's growth from a 4-day industry event to a 10-day program blending international designers (including 7 AGI members) with family activities. The new venue, a 1,600-square-meter space in a tertiary building never before used for cultural events, hosts 14 exhibition clusters. Highlights include 'Love, Now! the ways of love' exploring self-love, love for others, and nature; 'Eyes On Finland' showcasing Finnish graphic design; and the Demo Festival by Studio Dumbar and Exterion Media Netherlands, a motion design festival originating from Amsterdam Central Station. A call for under-30 designers, Neologia, offers emerging talent exposure and prizes. The festival extends across over 30 city venues, with events on May 9 and 16, including a quiz at Largo Montebello hosted by agency Sixeleven. Reposo and Guida express hope for a permanent home to enhance international appeal and community impact.
