Torino celebrates Diabolik's 60th anniversary with dual museum exhibitions
In Turin, two prominent museums are presenting exhibitions dedicated to Diabolik, the legendary comic figure created by the Giussani sisters in 1962. "Colpo grosso al Museo," curated by Giosuè Boetto Cohen at the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile (MAUTO), celebrates the 60th anniversary of Diabolik's Jaguar E-type and runs until March 6, 2022, featuring car models, posters, and comic strips. Meanwhile, "Diabolik alla Mole" at the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, curated by Luca Beatrice, Domenico De Gaetano, and Luigi Mascheroni, explores the character's legacy through diverse media until February 14, 2022. A Diabolik VR Experience can be accessed via the Rai Cinema Channel VR app. These exhibitions align with the release of the Manetti Bros film. Additionally, Intesa Sanpaolo plans to inaugurate its fourth Gallerie d'Italia location in Turin in April 2022.
