Turin's contemporary art fair, Artissima, is set to take place from October 31 to November 3, 2019, under the direction of Ilaria Bonacossa. This year's theme is 'desiderio/censura' (desire/censorship) and will showcase 208 galleries, including 129 from 43 different nations. New features include Hub Middle East, curated by Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath; Abstract Sex at Jana; Artissima Telephone; and a celebration of the tenth anniversary of Back to the Future, overseen by Lorenzo Giusti. Notable projects comprise Concrete by VANNI Occhiali and Cristian Chironi, as well as The Italian Job by Mark Hinchcliffe and Heidi Donohoe. Flashback will present 'Gli Erranti / The Wanderers,' highlighting artists like Sergio Cascavilla, Eva Marisaldi, and Hidetoshi Nagasawa. Additionally, Paratissima celebrates its 15th edition with the theme 'Multiversity,' and FLAT features 49 exhibitors. The Others will be hosted at Ospedale Militare Alessandro Riberi, while DAMA moves to Baroque palaces.
