Top Stands at Paris Photo 2018: Fraenkel, Gagosian, and More

Paris Photo 2018, held at the Grand Palais, featured standout booths from major galleries. Fraenkel Gallery presented large-format works by Richard Misrach, Adam Fuss, Richard Learoyd, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and Alec Soth, with hidden Diane Arbus prints. Daniel Blau showed vintage 19th-century photographs by Émile Zola and a collection of reportage images from the US armed forces, NASA, and Robert Capa. Sage Gallery offered refined works by Guido Guidi, John Gossage, Shoji Ueda, and Daido Moriyama. Astuni Gallery featured Steven Pippin, Maurizio Nannucci, Christian Jankowski, and Suzanne Lacy. Paci Gallery dedicated its booth to Ralph Gibson's erotic and sensual photography. Gagosian presented a project on Andy Warhol's Factory with works by Peter Lindbergh, Robert Mapplethorpe, Andy Warhol, David McCabe, Richard Avedon, and Douglas Gordon. Loock Gallery displayed a photographic panel project by Miwa Yanagi outside, with German works by Sibylle Bergemann, Manfred Paul, and Ulrich Wüst inside, plus new projects by Alec Soth. Juana de Aizpuru offered a simple booth with works by Wolfgang Tillmans, Tim Parchikov, Eric Baudelaire, and Glenda León.
