Tomorrow Living at MEET: How Digital and Metaverse Are Reshaping Domestic Spaces

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Until June 26, the MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan is showcasing the documentary 'Tomorrow Living' along with associated installations that examine the influence of digital technologies and the metaverse on future lifestyles. This project, created by the Huawei Milan Aesthetic Research Center in collaboration with MEET, features contributions from over thirty architects, designers, artists, and scientists, under the curation of Robert Thiemann. Divided into four segments, the film highlights ongoing research while underscoring the importance of the human body in the context of growing digital environments. Notable exhibits include the Ming Shan Digital Experience, a meditation cocoon developed by ECAL Lausanne researchers, and 'The Global Home' by Space Popular, a multisensory installation. Michele De Lucchi and Maria Grazia Mattei emphasize the need for critical engagement with technology.
